Arch's Tire

I had Exhaust put on my suburban at Arch's Tire. I was quoted $375 and paid $480. I noticed an exhaust leak and took it to him for repair, he tried to give me a bill for $150 after I explained the situation he agreed that he would cover that. When I got it home it still sounded terrible, and the tailpipes don't even come out at the same spot. There is a 3 inch difference. And one is out further. The exhaust actually hits the cross memebers. I took it to Auto Safety Center and paid $75 for them to fix almost all the welds and it sounds better. It's still not even but at least there are no leaks. I took the pipe to Arch and showed him the welds that only went half way around and that they had muffler putty that was already flaking off, after seeing the pipe he agreed to fix the problem, although I had already paid for it to be rewelded. I took it up there the next day he had it nearly all day and did nothing to it. When I went there to ask him why he hadn't fixed the problem he said we couldn't find a problem it wasn't rubbing on anything, I asked why he didn't fix where the tailpipes came out. He got mad and asked me to leave and not come back. I wonder why a business man won't stand behind his work? I still have the section of exhaust that auto safety had to cut out anyone can come and take a look, maybe they should if they are considering where to get exhaust work done.

I have allways had a positive experience when dealing with Arch's Tire.I have had work done on both tires, and exhuast with great result's.I would give them top mark's for both service and politeness.I think Arch's is a great place to get stuff done and will continue to bisiness there.I will also tell others what a great place it is. A satisfied customer,
Tony Alvernaz/The Cenex guy.
